In December 2023, on a chilly winter day in Alblasserdam (NL), a massive container crane superstructure weighing 240 tons needed to be installed. The size and weight of the structure made this no ordinary job—it required the power of four cranes working together.

Peineman managed the lifting operation and brought in Kraanverhuur Boekestijn to assist. Using two Liebherr LTM 1450-8.1 cranes and two Liebherr LTM 1750-9.1 cranes, the team carefully lifted and installed the superstructure.

Despite the freezing temperatures, the job was completed safely and successfully. It was a great example of teamwork and expertise, proving that even the toughest jobs can be done with the right equipment and planning.
