Welcome to my website! You might be curious: who’s the person behind these photos? Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Jelco Stouthandel, and I’m based in the Netherlands. By trade, I’m a crane operator—a role I now work part-time to dedicate more time to my greatest passion: photography.

My passion for photography started in 2006 because of my interest in big machines. I began with a Canon A550 compact camera, and from there, my passion for taking photos grew. Over time, I upgraded my gear and chose Nikon as my go-to brand. I started with the D3000, moved to the D7200, and later switched to the full-frame D750. Today, I use the Nikon Z6 III and Z8 with different lenses for various projects. I’ve also recently added a drone to my equipment, giving me more ways to explore photography.

In 2021, I got my first professional opportunity when my employer asked me to take photos for the company. This was the turning point from being a hobby photographer to becoming a professional. My work was taking pictures of projects, products, and portraits for the company. This experience, along with private lessons, helped me learn more and improve my skills.

In 2023, I decided to take my passion even further by starting my own photography business. Whether you need a beautiful family photo, pictures for your business, or product shots, I’d love to help.
